Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) awarded $14,000 to 14 county and district 4-H programs through the Clover Cash Grant Program.
The grant program, now in its fifth year, helps encourage 4-H members to continue their educational efforts about agriculture in creative, innovative and engaging ways.
“Farm Bureau is committed to supporting the next generation of agricultural advocates,” McKenna Bush, TFB Youth Outreach coordinator, said. “By empowering 4-H clubs and programs with the resources they need to grow agricultural literacy and awareness, we’re helping students understand where their food comes from and the role agriculture plays in our everyday lives.”
The recipients of this year’s grants will use the funds to enhance educational activities, develop hands-on learning experiences and create outreach initiatives that inspire future generations of agricultural leaders. Projects range from cooking demonstrations to interactive displays and STEM-based agricultural programs.
“These activities foster an environment of educational growth,” Bush said. “Farm Bureau is proud to provide these funds and investment in the future of agriculture.”
