The Amarillo Farm and Ranch Show will offer a program on wheat on Dec. 2. The show will be hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.

“Focus on Wheat in the Texas Panhandle” will begin with registration at 1 p.m. and conclude at 5:40 p.m. Four Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units—two general, one integrated pest management and one drift minimization—will be offered, according to AgriLife Today.

Program topics include new herbicides and their application timing, wheat disease management, control of wheat pests, impact of temperature and water, impact of fertility and nitrogen and plant growth regulators.
