Water quality issues related to the Neches and Sabine rivers will be the focus of a Texas Watershed Steward workshop slated for Feb. 17 in Tyler.
According to AgriLife Today, the workshop will include an overview of water quality and watershed management in Texas, in addition to covering current efforts to help improve and protect water in the area.
The free program, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board, will be held from 1-5 p.m. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and a copy of the Texas Watershed Steward Handbook. Continuing education units will also be available.
