The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Permian Basin Cotton Conference will focus on all items pertaining to cotton in West Texas. The multi-county annual event is set for Jan. 21 in Stanton.
According to AgriLife Today, conference sessions will include: salinity and cotton root rot control, legislative update on agriculture and cotton policy, how to prepare a budget for your banker, laws and regulations, weed resistance, cotton insect update and new seed varieties and technologies.
Martin, Upton, Glasscock, Howard, Reagan and Midland counties are involved in conducting the event.
