The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) will host a Multi-County Beef Cattle Symposium for residents of Bexar, Medina and Uvalde counties April 22 at LaCoste, according to AgriLife Today.

“The Multi-County Beef Symposium will address some of the items on our ‘to-do’ list for beef producers and hopefully assist in maximizing time management of tasks to get the most return on investments and labor,” said Roy Flora, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent.

The symposium’s topics include pasture management, stocking rates, range health, spring pasture seeding and forage management.

The event begins at 2:30 p.m. with registration and runs until 7:30 p.m. Three continuing education units will be offered. The $15 registration fee includes dinner and is payable at the door.

Attendees should RSVP by calling Angel Torres at the AgriLife Extension Bexar County office at 210-467-6575. For more information and agenda, click here.
