Time is running out for Texas landowners to let the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) know it’s time to ditch the rule. The Ditch the Rule campaign started shortly after the EPA announced its proposed changes to the Clean Water Act earlier this year.
Under the proposed changes, EPA and the Army Corps of Engineers would have the power to dictate land-use decisions and farming practices in or near puddles, ponds, ditches and isolated wetlands that dot the nation’s farmland.
