Have questions about the provisions of the 2014 Farm Bill? The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has launched a website and produced a new series of webinars designed to help farmers, landowners and other stakeholders better understand the new legislation.
Created to help farmers move forward with confidence in determining the best options for their individual farms, the farm bill video series features key commodity program and crop insurance provisions. An overview and four webinars go in-depth on the Price Loss Coverage (PLC) and Supplemental Coverage Option (SCO), the Agricultural Risk Coverage Program (ARC), the Staked Income Protection Program for Cotton (STAX) and the Dairy Margin Protection Program.
Links to useful farm bill information from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, land-grant universities and other organizations also are available on the website.
