Several hurricanes have devastated agriculture in the Southeast this fall. Relief funds have been established to assist farmers, ranchers and rural communities in their recovery efforts.

See the information below if you are interested in donating to one of the relief funds.

Alabama
To help the state’s farmers recover from Hurricane Michael’s devastating effects, the Alabama Farmers Federation has established a relief fund to directly benefit farmers and ranchers.

Donations are tax deductible and may be made at www.AlabamaFarmersFoundation.org or send checks payable to:

Alabama Farmers Agriculture Foundation
P.O. Box 11000
Montgomery, AL 36191

All funds collected by the Foundation through Nov. 30 will be targeted toward farmer losses not covered by a farm owner policy, crop insurance or disaster relief programs.

For more information, contact the Foundation at 334-612-5525 or abutts@alfafarmers.org.
