Hunter Glasson, a native of Waco, joins Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Communications team as the summer intern.

As the communications intern, Glasson will contribute articles for Texas Agriculture Daily, Texas Agriculture and Texas Neighbors. She’ll also assist with graphic design projects, video features and radio broadcasts on TFB’s Radio Network.

Glasson is a junior at Texas Tech University, where she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in communication studies.

At Texas Tech, Glasson is active in the Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity of Delta Psi and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She’s also made the Dean’s List Honors for three semesters.

Glasson is a 2022 graduate of Midway High School in Waco. While in high school, Glasson completed two years of floral design and was a member of Midway FFA.

Reflecting on her roots, she recalls many fond memories of visiting her grandparents’ farm in Coryell County.

“I enjoyed being outdoors and helping my grandparents with the goats on their farm, and I am so eager to learn more about Texas agriculture,” Glasson said. “Through this internship, I hope to help highlight the important role that agriculture plays in our society and to share the stories of Texas farmers and ranchers.”
