TEXAS NEIGHBORS | FALL 2022 INGREDIE N T S 1 can (29 oz.) pumpkin puree 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk 3 eggs 1 c. granulated sugar 1 tbsp. pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tsp. salt INSTRUCTIONS Pumpkin mix • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. • In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, milk, eggs, granulated sugar and spices. • Spread the pumpkin mixture into a prepared 9x13 baking dish. • In a separate bowl, mix together dry cake ingredients and pecans. • Pour butter over the dry mix and stir well to moisten. • Crumble the cake over the pumpkin in the pan to cover. • Bake for one hour or until golden. • Allow to cool before cutting so the pumpkin layer is set.
