County Awards and Recognition

County Farm Bureaus and members were recognized for achievements and successes throughout the membership year.

Awards were announced for:

Members of the TFB Resolutions Committee will also be recognized for their work in the policy development process during the business session, and a special tribute video was shown during the meeting.

Young Farmer & Rancher Contests

The annual Young Farmer & Rancher contests highlight and reward the achievements of the younger generation. Applicants for the contests must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher Contest
TFB’s Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher award recognizes the accomplishments of young men and women ages 18 to 35 who are involved in production agriculture with a majority of his/her net income subject to normal production risks.

Cassidy & Hailey Hayes are the 2023 Outstanding YF&R Winner.

Excellence in Agriculture Contest
TFB’s Excellence in Agriculture award recognizes young men and women ages 18 to 35 who are involved in agriculture but do not earn their primary income from a farm or ranch enterprise.

Cody Berry is the 2023 Excellence in Agriculture winner.

Discussion Meet Contest
The Discussion Meet is designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each committee member.

Kaleb McLaurin is the 2023 Discussion Meet winner.
